Design Challenge

My Design Challenge has evolved and now is emerging as an actual course offering that I hope to propose for Spring 2022 (it takes a while for these things to work through the system). In essence, I began with a design challenge within my community and realized that each step I was taking could accomplish a few key goals. First, USM is expanding Digital Composing courses, so Design Thinking is a natural next step. Second, we pride ourselves on helping students make connections with business leaders. And third, an important element of USM's culture is community service. By using my own work in this course as a baseline model, I morphed my project into a design thinking within design thinking mindset.
