Color Overture
To me, the Overture of Storytelling by Design begins before its three Acts of Action, Emotion, and Sensation. While the Acts compose the very skeletal structure of the tale, something has to poke and prod, needle its way into the very consciousness of needful Design. Just as one lies on a verdant berth of June grass and stares skyward in wonder at the fanciful shapes the clouds make, a true Storyteller by Design peers into the Beryl Blue of deep Curiosity.
And finding all that fascinates and liberates emanating from the reaches of Beryl Blue, the Storyteller by Design finds words and ideas, frivolities and uncertainties, energy and calm that seep ever more steadfastly within the creative soul until it overflows. Only the ebullient Communication of Ostentatious Aquamarine can withstand the tidal flows of a mind alight and seeking relief.
Yet even the true Storyteller by Design must yield to the Communication onslaught that Ostentatious Aquamarine delivers lest her creative soul wither. Forward motion, movement, maneuvering can be the only answer. Growth can only happen within the Storytelling by Design world if Lifeblood Burgundy is allowed to take control and lead the way toward Action, the kind that feeds the souls of the many and the few alike.
From the exuberance of Lifeblood Burgundy, imagination takes wing, surveying all it oversees from above. It dips and swoops as if corralling the scene in a magical web of gilded silk, ethereal and nebulous but nonetheless powerful in its heft and girth. This is Evocative Blush, the maiden of Emotion, twining the strand of all that is worthwhile to all who breathe, but especially to she who interprets the desires of the Storyteller by Design.
And last, yet be he not last, the thunderous overlord who brings each hue to bear, combining and segregating only to recombine in recombinant human spirit, the Calm in the Storm Sapphire crushes together in his calloused hands sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, intuition. Then, with a gentle smile, he releases from his palms Sensation, that which the Storyteller by Design imagined from the very start. And with this, the Overture begins anew but with a new color palette in the Storyteller by Design’s hands.
